Amber Graham, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Welcome!
The core of my practice is the firm belief that WE are capable and resilient, even through the most calamitous life events. I aim to create an inviting and comfortable environment throughout the therapeutic process to facilitate human connection.
I work with individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress and mood disorders. I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and therapeutic techniques in our work together.
Box canyon
So much symbolism can be found in the river. The river is a notable metaphor, the symbol of the great flow of Life itself. The river begins at Source and returns to Source unerringly. We have access to one of the country's most beautiful canyons and rivers. The Snake River is serene and can facilitate mindfulness practice and the healing process.
Like a river, so is our life; it’s the way we navigate the rapids and embrace the still waters that define us. My goal is to provide you with the tools that enable you to travel your river with strength and balance.

trauma- informed Therapy
Trauma-informed therapy considers the complex impact of trauma on an individual's well-being and how it shapes a person's ability to cope.
A traumatic event can be any distressing or disturbing experience unique to a person in which one perceives a threat to life, bodily integrity, or sanity. Trauma occurs when one’s ability to handle the event is compromised.
emdr
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.
EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain and allows the brain to resume its natural healing process.
